80th Birthday Cake
I had lots of fun with this cake! I tried out a few new cake flavors that were so yummy!! The top layer is an amaretto cake with amaretto buttercream, the middle layer is a chocolate chocolate cake with white chocolate chip buttercream, and the bottom layer is a caramel infused cake with a caramel buttercream. The cards are chocolate and the poker chips and records are fondant.
I also made 100 saxophone cookies for the party as well. These were a bit difficult because the cookie cutter shape made them especially fragile. The frosting is royal icing with edible glitter.
