Baby Shower & Birthdays!

Farmville!!

I have been asked to post my Farmville Cake on my blog for awhile now and I am finally getting around to doing it. I did this back in April for a very good friend's 8 year old daughter. Everything on this cake is edible. My favorite part of this cake are the animals. All hand sculpted down to the curls on the sheep. This was a fun cake to make even though it took hours upon hours!

Lessons learned....

A good friend requested I make her husband a birthday cake resembling his 1970 Nova. This is my 3rd car cake and I was feeling pretty confident, until I started carving. As you can see the cake does not resemble a Nova. I think it still looks good and it is all hand carved, just not a 1970 Nova. My friend still liked it and it tasted delicious, so I'm happy.

Bridal Shower Cake

An apple a day.....

Made especially for the wonderful staff and faculty at St. Alphonsus in honor of the first day of school. I could definately get used to having 1 of these a day.

This is a white cake with a Lemoncello filling. Everything on this cake is edible!

This is modelled after a friend's husbands' car. I tried to get all the details in and I think it came out pretty good!!
