Louis Vuitton!

I love how this cake came out. My very good friend loves purses as much as I do and I thought a Louie Vuitton purse would make a perfect birthday cake for her. The cake is a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache buttercream filling. The monogrammed detailing is handpainted. Everything including the perfume bottle is edible. Love it!!

Princess Cupcakes!

Loving these vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting, topped with a splash of color and a crown! A little shimmer dust adds lots of sparkle! Lot's of fun for a sweet 6 year old friend of Riley's!!

A Surprise Birthday Cake!!

Riley's teacher's birthday is on Easter Sunday this year and the kindergarten class wanted to do something special for her. Not only did each child bring in a flower and a homemade card, I made this surprise cake for her and the staff to enjoy. It encorporates what she loves, which are dogs, teaching of course, and running. I hope she enjoys it!

Tug Dixie!

This was a tough cake. Total time to create, not including baking was about 9 hours. It doesn't look exactly like Tom's tug, but it's a good replica. I think he likes it. :)

My most important customer has requested a very specific cake, full of detail work etc. This may be the hardest cake I have made to date. Hopefully he will like the cake and it will meet to his standards. Pictures coming soon!

Surprise Birthday Cake!

I wanted to make a birthday cake for a friend who I have known since she was about 9 months old. She turned 9 years old today. Since it was a surprise and unfortunately we don't see them often enough, I had to do some sleuthing to find out what she was into. I think I did pretty good and I hope she enjoyed it.
